Who We Are

The Alliance
of the Lune Valley

We’re a community-first gaming club for the hobbyists, painters, collectors, and tacticians of the Lune Valley.

We meet every Tuesday evening at Hornby Village Institute - a beautiful venue that lends real atmosphere to every game night. Whether you’re rolling dice for the first time or deep into a years-long campaign, you’ll find your people here.

All games, all skill levels. Beginners get a warm welcome; veterans get a real challenge.

Parking

Free street parking outside, or use the car park across the road by the bridge (roughly 100 steps). There’s a voluntary £1 donation box next to the bridge. If you don’t have cash, just let us know and we’ll sort it.

The Venue

We’re upstairs in the Foster Room. The building has a working lift, toilets on both floors, and an accessible toilet right where we game. Easy to get to, easy to get around.

Kitchen & Bar

A small kitchen runs off our room with a kettle, teas, coffees and the usual. The Institute also has a volunteer-run bar downstairs, open most weeks though not every one.

Hobby Welcome

Bring models to build or paint. Just put down protective materials and avoid anything that needs good ventilation (glues, sprays, etc.).
